Editorial Policy
Purpose
Our editorial policy is designed to keep The Alpine Press useful, understandable, and accountable to readers.
Accuracy
Writers and editors should verify material facts before publication. Statistics, research findings, product claims, dates, names, job titles, quotes, and other checkable details should be supported by reliable source material.
Original value
We do not aim to publish large volumes of near-duplicate or lightly rewritten material. Each article should add context, explanation, analysis, a practical workflow, or another clear reason for a reader to use the page.
Sources
When a claim depends on third-party information, we prefer primary documentation, official sources, reputable research, direct company information, and other sources appropriate to the topic.
AI assistance
AI may assist with outlines, drafting, editing, or technical tasks. It must not be used as a substitute for verifying factual claims.
Conflicts and commercial relationships
Paid or sponsored content is disclosed. Commercial relationships do not guarantee a positive conclusion or exemption from editorial standards.
Corrections
Material errors should be corrected promptly when identified. See our Corrections Policy for more detail.
